Structured Storage: A COM way to read/write persistent data
In persistent storage, normally files are stored in the form of bytes. A file is treated as a raw sequence of bytes. Entire file is stored in the blocks on the disk. These blocks are scattered on the disk. When you read this file, file system manages its pointers and return you a sequence of bytes.

Hi, I am working on C# and silverlight project. In both of these I have to read and write compound files created by earlier C++ code. How can I do that? Please help. Thanks.
