WPF DataGrid
This article is a part 1 of my WPF DataGrid series. In this part, you will learn how to create a DataGrid using XAML and C# and set its properties. The article will also show you how to apply data binding on a collection.
The text of this article is not in this database — only its details are. The old site it was published on is gone, but the Internet Archive kept a copy: WPF DataGrid

I was really hoping to find more of your series on the Datagrid. I've found several useful articles on using the WPFToolkit version of the datagrid, but I'm set on using .net4.0, and several of the datagrid examples don't transfer properly. In particular, I am in need to show and hide columns in the datagrid, while also providing some custom column templates in xaml. I'm not certain at this point if I can customize columns without auto creating them as in the examples. Further, the examples include DataGridColumnHeader from Microsoft.Windows.Controls.Primitives in code behind, and this doesn't work apparently in net4. Is there a replacement for this? If you could provide me with any guidance, it would be much appriciated. Jeff
