Azure App Service is a fully managed Azure service used to host web applications and APIs without managing the underlying servers. It supports .NET, Java, Node.js, Python, PHP and other application stacks.
To set it up:
Azure Portal → App Services → Create → Web App
Then configure:
Subscription and Resource Group
Web App name
Runtime such as.NET
Windows or Linux
Azure region
App Service Plan
Finally, select Review + create and deploy your application. For ASP.NET applications, you can deploy using Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, GitHub Actions, or the Azure portal.
