can anyone tell me how to add a jquery calendar in the asp.net application, i am not aware of jquery,

The jQuery is a javascript library. If you want to use the jQuery in your asp.net application then you need to download all the required jQuery scripts. That you can download from the project and add into your application.
In order to use the jQuery Calendar (jQuery DatePicker) you need to call the datepicker() function.
