Animated Layer cube

Question

I have seen a nice Flash animation. It is a kind of animated layer cube. How complex it is to to the same with WPF and/or Silverlight?

This is the reason why I am asking. I do not know which concept I should use. For the customer it doesn't matter if it is a native WPF application or Silverlight.
Which of the two concepts is better in this case?
Which is easier to code?

For me Silverlight is the Best, because it offers very strong features for someone who master it
