Applying Array Function

Question

Hi everyone, I have studied about quite a few types of arrays when I am in my college . However, I don't really understand how Array Functions can be applied or when they should be used :( Can someone enlighten me on this or give me an example of an situation which array function will come into good use? :D

Well, in .NET all arrays derive from the System.Array class.
This class has a number of properties and methods but here's an example which makes use of some of the commoner ones:
