I have a C# 2010 web form application that I have a question about files in the bin directory. I have created a setup and deployment project and installed the application on a test iis server. Can you tell me what format the application1.dll and application2.dll format files are in? Basically if I want to decompile those dlls, would those applications be in an msil format, a C# 2010 .net format or what format would those files be in?
Next step is I want to see the *.cs code from those two dll files. Thus if the code is in an MSIL format, what can I do to get the code in a *.cs readable format?

However I have the following additional questions:
1. I have used the Teletrik justdecompiler tool so far. I have supplied this tool with dll files I have obtain from the bin directory of the C# 2010 web form application that I have deployed using a setup and deployment project. What I have obtained are the *.cs files that are generated by the .net framework (mostly linq to sql) and not *.cs files that are written by people.
I used the primary output options when I setup the setup and deployment project. Do you think I am possibly picking the wrong type(s) of files when I am creating my setup and deployment project? if so, what file options do you think I should pick?
Also I have my debug option set to debug .net framework code and human written code. should I change my debug option to 'just my code'? Would that help?
2. I am picking the dll files from the bin directory of the web form application after I deploy it. Do you think I should be picking other file(s) and/or locations? if so, what changes would you recommend I make?
3. Do you think I should pick .net reflector and are the open source decompiler tools just as good to use?
