autoincremented id operation

how to perform CRUD operations in connected and disconnected architecture when id is autoincremented  e.g update all data when id=..., delete all data when id=.... on gridview

Hi,    Yes, Jenith said you can bind your id field in Hidden field and you can pass in where clause   Where = "YourHiddenFielId"

Okay  When ever you bind data in Grid View that time you have to store id in Hidden Field  so that when you click on Update Or Delete it will Get that Id And Perform Operation Based on that

in my table attributes are id,name and city id is set as static eg 101 these id is autoincremented and these data i can store in table in connected architecture in these i am so confused to how to create code to insert update and delete contents when id is something means when you select particular row in griedview  how to bind griedview to the table

but when you can set id=101 it is autoincremented and i have a task to update paricular row in table plz help

For that you can check with Hardcoded Id Like this  Pass HardCoded 0 in Update Method or Delete Method and check if there is a 0 then Delete or Update all records  Because 0 is not considered in Auto Increments so you can easily check with it
