Hello Archit,   I think crystal report is good.RDLC files are integrated into your application, hence when you distribute your application, they will go with it --- WITHOUT ANY ISSUE. But when it comes to Crystal Reports, Crystal Reports for Visual Studio is Evaluation Version. You may produce reports on your own machines, but for re-distribution purpose, you will need to buy its license   Check this   http://www.kode-blog.com/crystal-reports-vs-rdlc-reports-net-platform   https://stackoverflow.com/questions/149118/crystal-reports-vs-reportviewer-pros-cons
