C# console log file

Question

I have a C# 2008 console application where all the output is displayed in DOS popup windows instead of being written to a log file.
Thus can you tell me what I can do to have all messages in this console application appear in a log file instead of these dos pop windows? Can you show me in code how to accomplish this goal?

Include System.IO into your code and then use following piece of code to write some text into a file:
StreamWriter Writer = new StreamWriter("Output_File_Name");
Writer.WriteLine("Your Message output");

To Write in a text file, you could use StreamWriter class to write your output.

You are correct. I need the output on a text file. Right now one dos popup is the running of the application and the other dos output window is what messages show up when the application runs.
Is there a way to tell the difference of when these two diferent types of dos windows show up?

Do you mean... instead of getting your output on console screen , you need the same output on a some text file(log file)?
