Data grid page index changed

Question

hi!
in my datagrid i give paging. i.e., one page contain 10 rows. and 11th row onwards it dispaly 2nd page.
my problem is when i delete all records in a datagrid page means 2nd page contains a 11 to 20 rows. if i deletes the 2nd page all records. all Records are deleted but it shows a error in this line    datagrid1.databind().
"Invalid CurrentPageIndex value.  It must be >= 0 and
how to solve this error. please give reply.

i havent use the datagrid but i found this solution check if it work for you ..
call the following function before binding records in datagrid Private Sub grid()   'Method to check Current Page Index of Datagrid while Editing and Deleting records from it.
If Datagrid1.Items.Count Mod Datagrid1.PageSize = 1 And _
Datagrid1.CurrentPageIndex = Datagrid1.PageCount - 1 And _
Datagrid1.CurrentPageIndex <> 0 Then
Datagrid1.CurrentPageIndex = Datagrid1.CurrentPageIndex - 1    End If

hi! diya,
i am already write that code. my problem is when i delete 2nd page or 3rd page... all records. that time error occured in runtime. that error message is " Invalid CurrentPageIndex value.  It must be >= 0 and   this occur in this line   datagrid1.databind().
i think this is enough to explain my problem. please give a proper code.

hi.. if you r using code behind then add two events of datagrid this way
protected void GridView1_PageIndexChanging(object sender, GridViewPageEventArgs e)     {         GridView1.PageIndex = e.NewPageIndex;         GridView1.DataBind();     }
protected void GridView1_PageIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)     {         GridView1.DataBind();     }

are you binding your data grid with sql data source or from code behind??
and have u used the  DataGrid1_PageIndexChanged and DataGrid1_PageIndexChanging events??
