Database error

Question

I am facing this error when I upload excel file to the database...   If I check database after I saw this message, there is no data in database.    Can anyone help me in my problem? Thanks a lot for viewing my question. :-)   System.InvalidOperationException: The changes to the database were committed successfully, but an error occurred while updating the object context. Hi,   Not sure about your exact error, so providing some checklist below:   1. Make sure  that every every table should have primary key. 2. And primary key should be unique value. You can manually insert value to primary key or auto generate( Identity(1,1) ).    It seems that you are manually inserting value to primary key(course table) and that some duplicate value is already present. So it is throwing error when trying to insert value to table.   Solution: If you are development environment then you can delete previous data or make sure that you are sending any duplicate value to that primary key.   Note: Always try to use auto generate value in primary key.

its saying SL1.course is primary,so try inserting unique data or change the design pattern of the table column
