CS1061: 'ASP.teacher_master' does not contain a definition for 'NavigationMenu_MenuItemClick' and no extension method 'NavigationMenu_MenuItemClick' accepting a first argument of type 'ASP.teacher_master' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

u just write as below
in login aspx.cs
session["username"]=loginusertextboxname.text;
and in student profile aspx.cs u write
label1.text="welcome"+session["username"];

store the username in the session or pass it in the querystring and display in the next page, the code can be further optimized and can be done in different ways:
in login.aspx.cs
Session.Add("UserName",dr["UserName"].ToString());                 Response.Redirect("StudentProfile.aspx");
in StudentProfile.aspx.cs
Label1.Text = "Welcome " + Session["UserName"].ToString();
