can u tel me how to access files from disk  fastly if tat disk having more no of files
tel me any method to achieve tis task

iam having a some  directory in c drive and i placed 1000+ files(image files by using my c# application)  in tat directory and as the size increses retriving those files taking time
so give me any suggestions for this plz

Hi,
What is your problem exactly?
you can access file directly by giving its full path.
we have File class to perform operations related to files.
and if you want to get files in a directory & perform operations on a directory means
then directory class will help you.
Like
String[] files=Directory.GetFiles(directorypath);
Accessing files using c# is always faster than other lang.
please tell us ,your problems in file access.
