dynamic linking of 2 textboxes

Question

I have 2 listboxes , one where I will upload some files/folders and another listbox that will have a list of employees. Now what I am trying to achieve is that I want to be able to select single/multiple items from 1st listbox and assign them to one selection on the 2nd listbox .Once this pair is linked i want to store the pair in a database and then remove the selections from the listboxes. I tried to search a solution but most of them refer to moving selections from 1st listbox to the 2nd one. Thats not what i want.

If anyone can help...

Hi,   I think you need to travers both the ddl in that case and your code should handle this mapping. Mapping in that case is very important.Because correct key need to bind with actual value.   Many option is available regarding the same 1) Create one class with two properties and bind the same in List   Let say Class A { prop get;Set; Key prop get;Set; Value  } Now create List and store mapping for the same or crate Datatable.   2)Use can use any key value pair for the same as well like Hash Table, Dictinnery etc
