Find Only Non Null Value from Multiple Row

Question

I have a database structure like this:   Ans     Qid
Null       1 8           1 Null       1 Null       1     I want to find only non null value 8 based on qid,rather than both null and non null value on bais of qid.    i.e my output shouid be like this:   Ans   Qid 8         1   Please suggest me some sql server query to achieve this

Actually database structure is like this   Qid      Option      Correction  1          8                 0  1          11               1  1          12               0  1           11               0   When i am trying follwing query   select Qid ,case when CorrectAnswer=1 then Answer end as Ans from answer where Qid=1           Qid          Ans           1             null            1            11            1            null            1            null   As the question is clear,plz advice me how to achieve following result Qid   Ans  1       11

SELECT * FROM tablename WHERE Ans IS NOT NULL

you try like this type query     select * from tablename where Ans is not null
