Getting mouse position

Question

i am haveing one DIV tag in my application.
i want to display it at the center position of the current screen(at the time of button click)
i am not able to set the top & left of the DIV tag to display at the center....i can't give it static
i have used java script to display DIV tag..
Plz reply if anybody have idea about that...

You can use fixed positioning to acheive this effect in the browsers
that support fixed positioning. For example, to center a div that's
200px wide by 100px tall in Mozilla:

position: fixed;

top: 50%
