hello i`m having problem using c# windows form, trying to connect to database and having this error here  DataTable dTable = new DataTable ();
dAdapter.Fill(dTable);

It sounds like your connection is not initialized,So initialized your connection before DataAdapter declaration like ...   //Define your connection string
string sqlConnectString = "Data Source=(local);Integrated security=SSPI;Initial Catalog=DBName;";
SqlDataAdapter da = new SqlDataAdapter(Your sqlQuery, sqlConnectString);

Hello @Modestas  your code is correct it contain only one mistake that your not providing connection name   MySqlCommand cmd = new MySqlCommand("SELECT tes FROM ins", conn); or    dAdapter.SelectCommand.Connection = myCon;

Hi,   You have not initialize SelectCommand Connection Property for DataAdapter.   dAdapter.SelectCommand.Connection = myConn;   Just add this line in your code above this line :   DataTable dTable = new DataTable();   Or just Change : MySqlCommand cmd = new MySqlCommand("Your Select Query"); To MySqlCommand cmd = new MySqlCommand("Your Select Query", myConn );

firstly take your datatable with return value from database after that you fill dataadapter because your datatable is empty at this time and also chek datatable null condition.
