If your project is only run on IE then you can use the Following code,
ret=window.showModalDialog(url);
It returns the Value.
for example,
function ModalDialog(url)
{
if(window.showModalDialog("Confirm.aspx"))
{
alert("Yes....");
}
else
{
alert("No....");
}
}
Confirm.aspx
(Do't use postback. Only use JavaScript with HTML control. ModuleDialog never understand the ASPX postback)
function OnClickedYes()
{
self.close();
return true;
}
function OnClickedNo()
{
self.close();
return false;
}
The Advantage of ModuleDialog is,
1. It is abs. Module Dialog
2. You can change the Look and Feel like,
Border is sunken or raised
For more you can see http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/browser/mshtml/reference/ifaces/window2/showmodaldialog.asp

hi there
i think the only way to implement a dialogbox in a web app. is to use java script
in java script you can use the "confirm" function.
it take one parameter as string which indicates the test message
for example
function askData()
{
if (confirm("Are you sure ?"))
{
alert ("you Pressed OK");
}
else
{
alert ("you Pressed NO");
}
}
to use this in the form section type the following
for example
this way when you press the button you'll get promoted with a dialog box.
i hope this helps.
