How to read and write data from registry?

I'm tring to read and write data from registry but with no success.

The registry is sometimes difficult to understand. Microsoft uses confusing terminology and does things that are not logical. So instead of saying that it does not work, try to be specific about what is not working or whatever.

I just tried the first example on this MSDN page ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.win32.registry.aspx ) and it produced the following output on my machine:

You haven't said what problems you're experiencing.
Note that there are some registry settings that won't take effect until after the machine is rebooted.
