Input String not in a correct format

Hi
ID is of int type
hdFld.Value = Request.QueryString["val"];
Result.ID = int.Parse(hdFld.Value);

Try using the below code:
hdFld.Value = Request.QuesryString["val"];
int num;
bool numParseSuccess = int.TryParse(hdFld.Value, out num);
Result.ID = num;

Try the following code: hdFld.Value = Convert.ToString(Request.QueryString[ "val" ] !=  null  ? Request.QueryString[ "val" ] :  "0" )   Result.ID = Convert.ToInt32(hdFld.Value);

It will be something as shown below:   String value = Request.QueryString[ "val" ];   if (!String.IsNullOrEmpty(value))     {         Int32 val = 0;        Boolean success = Int32.TryParse(value,  out  val);        Result.ID = success ? val : 0;     }   else      Result.ID = 0;       Note that I have NOT tested the above code.

It is almost always best to use TryParse. That way you don't get an exception but a result in a boolean variable wheather or not the parsing operation completed successfully.   You also have an option to check String.IsNullOrEmpty before attempting to parse.
