Installation of typescript

Question

Hi   i have visual studio 2015 comunity version.I saw in template folder there is option for typescript application.now i want to install typescript. Is there need of install a 'npm install -g typescript' .let me know the process of installing typescript.    thanks for your reply. Regards sameer

Hi, firstly you need to install "npm install" and tsconfig.json,package,json,systemconfig.js.. after that you can use ts file.because it will compile in last js file.
