Hi Manish, I must say I agree with Abhishek.
It is really up to you, both are well paying jobs and I believe you won't regret if you choose either one. Also maybe in the future you could do both. Believe me syntax will not be the problem, but you will need to be aware of the different patterns and frameworks as they'll really help you to write better code.
What is important in the beginning is that you do not give up if things get though, hard to understand. I believe the motivation is a key here, note that it takes quite some time for anyone to achieve the developers skill set so hang in there and practice a lot (build something interesting to you). Also you can try testing yourself, by solving some coding tests, just to measure your progress.
For example you can use this site that offer many programming aptitude tests.
Here are the basic Java programming tests, try to solve them first and later on progress to hard ones.
And here are C# programming tests, these are also easy ones.

if u have any experience with any of these then go with that.. or go with ur area of interest buddy. Both are good at their own points, you have to select what suits u better. If u are variation loving then go with .net otherwise u can select JAVA too.
