i added a collection of data into a list box. i have another group of data with a group name.i want to add this group in to that same list box as a tree structure.
the sample list box is shown below.
item1
item 2
item3
-group name
group item1
group item 2
group item 3
item 4
item 5
is there any way to do this. when clicking on the group name it must be expanded within the list box and i want to manage all these elements with an index.

i am a newbie to asp.net . and i always thought treeview is better than any other control to do my task. I'm just trying other controls because this problem tooks some days of me. :(
is there any way to solve the problems i have mentioned in above post ? or what is the best way do that?

. For each node selction there will be a post back. if i removed the postback using some javascript , didnt get the selected node value.
Actually i want to get the selected node value and change the color of the selected node without postback.i heard using javascript we can do that. But how??
