MVC cross platform Application

Question

0 down votefavorite Can a mvc core project developed on window VS 2015, run/deployed on mac? I have developed a core project using VS2015, now i want to host it on both window and mac server. Is it possible to deploy it on both platform. Or i have to develop the separate application.

Thank you Nilesh for reply. I have developed a API, and main application using the postgreSQL. My requirement is to work in offline mode. So i have deployed it on local IIS when there is no internet connection, it ll browse from local host. Its working fine on window. Now my requrement is that it should also work on Mac, now my question is can i use this API and app on the mac or i have to rewrite code according to mac.
