In my application, i want to show data in Popup Window and also need to process the same. I tried by using the Ajax ModalpopupExtender but I can not Fire server side events from Modal Popup Extender. Basically I want to display GridView in the Popup window with paging and need to do processing on the data such as Add, Edit, Delete, Save etc. By means of Ajax Modal Popup Extender I can not call Server Side Functions.
So looking alternative solution using Javascript.
Any Help appreciated .....

I don't want use window.open() because of its UI doesn't satisfy my UI requirement.
So I tried with div and javascript (Show and Hide methods). But still I am facing problem, as my Page contains Grid View with Paging on Click of next page the Popup get disappear though paging works on Grid View which I could find on next popup.
Here I want Popup remain as it is until Close button on the div clicked.
Do you have any idea about this. I am pretty new to javascript.

you have to know about the MOdelpopupextender .I mean basicly ajax is based on javascript and xml . When u show the ajax popup this can not goto the server becouse this is made on javascript and convert the xml to show data on the popup
u can show the gride on another page open as popup by javascript
and if u want to show only popup u can handel the popup in panal by altas dll which is supported by MS
