open a new tab in chrome browser using javascript

for js you need to call

 

window.open(URL, name, specs, replace);

Url:redirection url,

name:"_blank",

 

specs Optional. A comma-separated list of items, no whitespaces. The following values are supported:

replace Optional. Specifies whether the URL creates a new entry or replaces the current entry in the history list. The following values are supported:

 

true - URL replaces the current document in the history list

false - URL creates a new entry in the history list

 

OR

 

just call

 

window.open(url , "_blank");

try this 

i want to open a tab, when using "window.open('about:blank','_blank');" with localhost chrome open the new tab and no problem occur, but when deploying with iis or online, chrome popup blocker blocks the new tab from opening and show the mesage to allow popup for that website.

 

so i want to open the blank tab without fire the popup blocker in chrome,
