Paste in Last Active Program

Question

Hello everyone. Here is my scenario: I have a simple Windows Forms Application. There is a Form1 in it. There is a textbox1 in Form1. "Some text" is written on this textbox. I want that form to lose the focus when I click on the textbox and the last active program (for example Notepad or Chrome) will gain the focus and then that "some text" will be pasted on that program (ie Notepad or Chrome). How can I do that? Please note that I am a newbie. Thanks.

//This works:   IntPtr lastWindowHandle = GetWindow(Process.GetCurrentProcess().MainWindowHandle, (uint)GetWindow_Cmd.GW_HWNDNEXT); while (true) { IntPtr temp = GetParent(lastWindowHandle); if (temp.Equals(IntPtr.Zero)) break; lastWindowHandle = temp; } SetForegroundWindow(lastWindowHandle); SendKeys.Send("^{v}");

Hi, As I understood from your query.   You are going to control the external Notepad or Chrome application from the windows application.   You will have full control on your windows application and if you are creating a "Notepad.exe" using a process start operation in C# also the notepad will be opened that's all you can do.   File -> Using File namespace you can Read or write  or create or delete the file.   I hope you are trying to achieve something as full control of chrome or notepad from windows, can be achieved through the process automation code using C#.   Please add the scenario you want to achieve, so suggest you more in details.
