Poker hand evaluation

Question

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction for a book or website to help me create a Poker evaluation program. i already have a card class and constructor and a Deck method that is already shuffled. i am struggling to find away of comparing the players holding cards plus the table cards i.e flop, river, turn to a ranked hand.   any help or advice would be very much appreciated.   Thanks Lee

I did something a while back in this thread which might be of help:

As you can see that's finding the best 5 card hand from 7 cards dealt but it could be adjusted to deal with other numbers of cards dealt.
