Heki,   You are completely new to Software Industry. After passing out you are also working in company - that is Great. Forget about it is a small or big company.    As you are beginner of .Net  platform - make your base strong. Means basic concepts of C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server and jQuery(For web app). Once you are feeling comfortable on ASP.NET then try to learn some advanced technologies like WCF, MVC or Azure etc. It is not that you will learn everything in one day, it will take some time. SO keep patience and learn always.   Secondly please don't compare your earning and technology with your friends. You don't know what your friends are doing - so you should not worry about. You should worry about you how can grow grow your career.  Set your GOAL and achieve it. One day will come you will be top of than your friends. It need hard work and commitment.   If your company training is not helpful then go for any institute which provides better course for .Net. And you are saying that you want to learn MVC. If so then go through some MVC tutorials and create a demo application by own. Below links are for MVC beginner.   http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/866143/Learn-MVC-Project-in-days-Day   http://www.asp.net/mvc/overview/getting-started/introduction/getting-started   Always keep learning. Everything will OK.
