i having sql database2005  it's in (mdf,ldf format)how can i use this same in to sql 2008 .iam doing project in visual studio c#.net,asp,sql 2008

do this it will create .bak file of your database and then restore it in 2008
backup database to disk = 'c:\ .bak'

Generate Script of ur database .just go on ur AspNETDB database right click on it in task u can see generate script option is there.or u can make backup file and restore it into sqlserver 2008.

i having sql 2005 database in side my c#.net 2008 project.like this under App_Data
App_Data:
ASPNETDB.MDF
aspnetdb_log.ldf
but i want  this same database in to sql 2008 ,because i having sql 2008 in my system.if i go to sql 2008 and right click attach and choose my mdf file ,i got error --- microsoft sql server .Error 5123 ,failed to retrive data for this request.(microsoft.sqlserver.management.sdk.sfc) pls give solution

no problem u can just right click on database u can see attach option there give ur mdf file path.
