Amit Mohanty · Answer

Hey try this.
In RouteConfig.cs add a class "SeoFriendlyRoute" public   class  SeoFriendlyRoute : Route   {        public  SeoFriendlyRoute( string  url, RouteValueDictionary defaults, IRouteHandler routeHandler) :  base (url, defaults, routeHandler)       {       }           public   override  RouteData GetRouteData(HttpContextBase httpContext)       {           var routeData =  base .GetRouteData(httpContext);               if  (routeData !=  null )           {                if  (routeData.Values.ContainsKey( "id" ))                   routeData.Values[ "id" ] = GetIdValue(routeData.Values[ "id" ]);           }               return  routeData;       }           private   object  GetIdValue( object  id)       {            if  (id !=  null )           {                string  idValue = id.ToString();                  var regex =  new  Regex(@ "^(? \d+).*$" );               var match = regex.Match(idValue);                   if  (match.Success)               {                    return  match.Groups[ "id" ].Value;               }           }               return  id;       }   }
fter that add route rule to "RegisterRoutes" routes.Add( "AboutMe" ,  new  SeoFriendlyRoute( "{id}" ,   new  RouteValueDictionary( new  { controller =  "Home" , action =  "About"  }),   new  MvcRouteHandler()));
In Model class add below two method and a variable "SeoUrl". public   class  MyModel   {        public   string  SeoUrl {  get ;  set ; }           public   string  GenerateSlug( string  srtValue)       {            string  str = RemoveAccent(srtValue).ToLower();            // invalid chars             str = Regex.Replace(str, @ "[^a-z0-9\s-]" ,  "" );            // convert multiple spaces into one space               str = Regex.Replace(str, @ "\s+" ,  " " ).Trim();            // cut and trim             str = str.Substring(0, str.Length          str = Regex.Replace(str, @ "\s" ,  "-" );  // hyphens                return  str;       }           private   string  RemoveAccent( string  text)       {            byte [] bytes = System.Text.Encoding.GetEncoding( "Cyrillic" ).GetBytes(text);            return  System.Text.Encoding.ASCII.GetString(bytes);       }   }
In controller create object of Model class and pass your url text to "SeoUrl" variable.   public   class  HomeController : Controller   {        public  ActionResult Index()       {           MyModel model =  new  MyModel();           model.SeoUrl =  "My testing seo url" ;            return  View(model);       }           public  ActionResult About( string  id)       {           ViewBag.Message =  "Your application description page." ;               return  View();       }   }
In Index.cshtml add below code         "@Url.RouteUrl(" AboutMe ", new { id = Model.GenerateSlug(Model.SeoUrl) })" >           Check Seo url
If any doubt, check the attached file.
