Session id length and change session id after login

Question

HI there please help ,   1) New session ID must be provided after each successful login Implement * without  losing session data 2) and session id length sholud greter than 50

Thanks manas for your rply, if i do session abandon and set session id set to empty string,
than how do i preserve the previous session data. if i am not wrong  Response.Cookies.Add(new HttpCookie("ASP.NET_SessionId", ""));
needs redirection to create a new session id, correct?

Can you try like this;   SessionIDManager manager = new SessionIDManager(); string newSessionId = manager.CreateSessionID(HttpContext.Current);   or   Session.Abandon(); Response.Cookies.Add(new HttpCookie("ASP.NET_SessionId", ""));
