Sorting a CheckedListBox to display the checked items first

Hi
This problem is driving me crazy right now. Hopefully, some of you out there might be able to help:
I have a CheckedListBox that is bound to a bindingsource. So it displays all the items, and I can choose to sort the bindingsource if I want. However, I would like to display the checked items first. Any ideas on how I might go about doing that?
Any link to an external resource or article would be appreciated too.

Note that the CheckedListBox.Items property is a CheckedListBox.ObjectCollection, which is derived from ListBox.ObjectCollection, which is derived from IList, ICollection and IEnumerable. Look for articles about custom sorting of IList, ICollection or IEnumerable. I am not sure however that sorting the collection will automatically show the CheckedListBox.Items in the sorted order.
Look at the documentation page of the CheckedListBox Class;there is a sample there that does something similar to what you are looking for. It is not the same but it is a sample of an alternative.

I don't have the code available at the moment. I won't have it until some time in January. I think I ended up populating the CheckedListBox, then picking out the checked items to one list and the unchecked one to a separate list. Then I merged the lists without resorting. Does that make sense? I can get you the code if you remind me some time after the 7th of January, but at the moment, I just have no way of accessing it. Good luck.
