what is the output of this query in sql select '1'+1  why given query output is two

It will always return two beacuse 1+1 -2 don't confuse about string.

Hi, I think sql automatically treats '1' as float or decimal while executing above query. If it is some character like 'a' instead of '1', you will get error in query. Also if query is select '1'+'1', then result will be 11. So that may be default property of sql.
