Here's  one:   Assume you want to create an audit trail of all changes made to your company table. By using triggers, you can create a history table automatically. An insert trigger can log the creation of a new company, an update trigger can detect and log individual column changes.   Once implemented, it will automatically log all changes made to your company table separately, whether it's from code, or when you change something directly in the database using a SQL query. You will have a complete viewable history of changes.
