visual designer being used?

Question

Can you tell what 'visual' designer was used when developing an existing a C#.net 2008 non web application? What do I click on to tell what 'visual' designer was used? Also once I know what visual designer was used, can you point me to a url to tell me how to use that visual designer?

I need to change some of the tables behind an existing desktop application. Basically some of the production tables will be changing. The users want to keep the existing desktop (gui) interface since they like it alot.

In this application, there is a project called 'table adapters'. Every project file in this solution has a reference to the 'table adapters' project. Is there a designer that is setup for table adapters? if so, which designer would it be?

Not clear what you mean by visual designer. Do you mean to say you want to know if it was developed using Visual Studio 2008 IDE? As far as I know, table adapters are objects in the ADO.NET architecture and they are set up in the DataSet designer of the IDE. Strange that you have a whole project named table adapters. Are you sure about that?
