Hi,
I had written a webservice.Now I need help to accompolish the following goals..
1.How to host the webservice?..since this i have to use in windows application.
2.How to consume this webservcie through the C#.net windows application.
My task is to write the Webservice,using this I will pick some data and that data I have to pass to a windows application/windows service where I will update the database.

to consume a web service open your project and in the solution explorer right click on web refrence under the project node. and select add reference a window form will appears and it helps you to browse to your web service and add a refrence to it then in code editor tape
theservername.yourwebservice instance = new theservername.yourwebservice();
and you can make use of the methods after this step
if you host the web service in your local machine
the use the webservice name directly
yourwebservice instance = new yourwebservice();
