hi there,
In visual studio .net 2003 it used to create the dlls in the bin directory but with 2005 it creates the dlls in C:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files. Just to clarify your doubt i have one article, just check it out.

Hi,
I am running separately .net 2003 and .net 2005. What I found if I run a web application in .net 2003 dll is created automatically but in .net 2005 after running the web application it is not creating. Can U tell me the reason behind it.
Thans a lot.
Regards,
Milton

Hi Milton,
I think you need to be much more specific in your question. Do you mean you are trying to compile a dll in 2003 in a completely separate project as 2005? Are you getting an error when you compile? If so what is it? Need A LOT more information here.
