Hi could anyone please suggest me how to make windows form with rich GUI ,apart from just adding images or assigning background colors?

Use WPF projects. They specifically meant for rich GUI. This project template available in VS.
How to implement using WPF is not within this mail scope. Already lot of articles there. You can easily start with..
