Try this:
using System; using System.Linq; using System.Xml.Linq;
class Test {     static void Main()     {        string xml = @" ;]]> ";
XElement xe = XElement.Parse(xml);        int id = (int)xe.Attribute("id");        string name = (string)xe.Attribute("name");        string text = (string)xe.Value;        Console.WriteLine("{0} : {1} - {2}", id, name, text);        Console.ReadKey();     } }
