The article editor has certain formatting issues which I would like to mention: 1. It not supporting Unicode characters. Showing junk characters when using certain symbols etc. 2. Formatting issues with bullets 3. Table formatting issues 4. Code segment should have some difference than rest of article beside color marking of code Thanks,

Argue for it, argue against it, or say what it would take to build.

I have noticed the problem of junk characters. Since I am a designated article editor (I know that when you say "article editor" you mean the software), I assume it is something I could fix when I see it. I agree that it is much better to fix the software so there is nothing more to fix in the articles. Can someone suggest some fixes? One thing I know that is a problem is a dash character; I am not sure which one.
