SharePoint 2016 Central Admin - Upgrade And Migration - Convert Farm License Type
Learn how to change your SharePoint license type from Standard to Enterprise or from Trial to Regular without reinstalling. Use the Central Admin page to update your product key directly. Note that you can only upgrade to a higher edition, and a key cannot be retrieved once set. Perform an IIS reset to ensure smooth conversion.
